It seems that on the Sundance Film Festival to be held on January 21-31, 2010 Timberland boots will be a trend for independent filmmakers.

It’s because Timberland got a title of the official footwear and outerwear sponsor of the Sundance. What does it mean?

Firstly, these are co-branded Timberland / 2010 Sundance Film Festival jackets to over 300 filmmakers as well as the festival’s programming team. Secondly, it means premium Timberland footwear for the same people, including the ecological Earthkeepers boots, which were created with an inspiration to design a footwear with a smaller environmental footprint than other.

According to the brand, this partnership will also include some green efforts, such as encouraging the use of public transportation and walking for Festival attendees.
