As it is known, this year IKEA celebrates the 30th anniversary of BILLY bookcases.

To mark this date, the brand created an online collection of users’ interiors (of course, with BILLY), told a story of this bookcase and some words about its designer Gillis Lundgren at billy30.ch (pic.) and presented BILLY bookcases limited edition.

They are designed by Marianne & Knut Hagberg and Annika Bryngelson, which used quotations from William Shakespeare’s love sonnets. Just to show strong emotions, love and heartache.

Also, IKEA launched a 5-minute movie about the BILLY bookcases’ journey to celebrate the anniversary – “BILLY Movie”. Here it is:
